11/6 - National Non-Fiction Day (it's "national" in England; let's spread it internationally!) I have collaborated with a couple of authors on one non-fiction book through my writer's group. It is a work book for seniors to help them begin the process of writing down their stories. It gives hints on how to start, what to write and encourages them to tell their stories in their own way. I attended a super library event in Spruce Grove on 4th November. There were familiar and new faces of lots of local authors. There were books in every genre you could think of, and it was a great networking opportunity. I was very pleased with my display, as the table was big enough for me to spread out my books, and I met some lovely readers too, including the local Mayor.

As for my own reading, having more time as a retired person, I am soaring through my TBR. This is my current Goodreads Challenge stat. So I will easily overtake my goal. I will need to up my book total for next year!
