Thank you for sharing this. We jokingly call our yard a nature preserve because we leave it more or less wild. And with a few amenities for birds and wildife (birdseed and suet feeders, birdbath, and a salt lick), it provides a habitat for animals and plants. In the process, it brings my family much joy and entertainment (mainly in the form of squirrel and bird antics).
