There is just a few more days of frantic typing to go before the NaNoWriMo deadline. I have had a couple of frightening moments this past week. When my mind has gone blank, not something a writer ever wants to happen, I can tell you. My story has had a few hiccups as I struggle with the multiple characters and their individual stories. Each clambering inside my head demanding they should be first.

This story has been very different in genre and structure from my first novel, where my main character was calling the shots and just led me where he wanted me to go. Now I have many masters and have to try and organize the various paths through the story.

For my fellow NaNo’ers I wish you luck and a happy ending in accomplishing the fifty thousand words (or more!)
