Bibliophile’s Collective Tuesday – A Book Event Filled Weekend

I had the most wonderful evening on Friday at my local bookstore, The Sherwood Park Bookworm. I was joined by the most amazing authors - Lynn Gale, Katie O'Connor, Delainie Tiedmann and Kathie Sutherland. We read from our latest books and our gracious hostess paired the genres with the most delicious wines.

The store was filled with a wonderful audience and everyone became quickly absorbed in the authors words, while sipping their chosen wine. Delainie Tiedmann - The Jump. Katie O'Connor - Carly's Heart. Lynn Gale - L'Opacite. Kathie Sutherland - Window on My World. And, of course, my newest novella, Malgraf's Dawning.

On Saturday it was an early start to set up for the Words in the Park event. With twenty tables filled with authors, a local publisher, and the Writers Foundation of Strathcona County's information table, there was lots to do and organize. This year we associated with the Arts & Culture Council of Strathcona County within the Alberta Culture Days celebration. The community center was full of authors, artists, artisans, musicians, dancers and more. It was a fun packed day. (As you can see, I set up strategically beside the café LOL)

I want to personally thank all my wonderful readers who came to chat and purchase my books. It is always a thrill to see you and talk to you directly in depth about my stories.

My next venues are Spruce Grove library Saturday 4th November 11.00 am - 3.00 pm

Moyer Center,  54569, Range Road 215, Josephburg - Saturday 25th November - 10.00 - 4.00 pm
