In this week of love, let's show some love for the books in our life. The also 14th celebrates International Book Giving Day and Library Lover’s Day. Both celebrations are some of a bibliophile's favorites throughout the year.

I showed my love of my local library this weekend by attending their book sale and found eight books I just had to have! Well, that's my excuse and I'm keeping to it. You may notice there are several novels by the same author with a common theme. I find these interesting to read as well as intriguing in how the theme is foundational to the stories. Do you read thematic books as well? Which ones?

My other visit to a market, on the same day, resulted in a wonderful happenstance meeting. There was a vendor, who makes small batch perfumes relating to books, stories, and characters. I could not help, but purchase one vial for myself.

All in all a very good 'book' day.
