As writers and authors we are constantly trying to get our stories out into the world. We use social media, podcasts, interviews, and videos to encourage readers to find us and our narratives. It is literally a ‘business’, which requires a lot of effort, planning and forethought.

I have been asked how I first became involved with Relatable Media. I was actually a podcast guest back in 2023. Lucia and I got on very well and messaged back and forth frequently. Eventually, she asked me to be part of the team and I was more than happy to join as Relatable Media has a real passion to assist authors on their journey and to make their voices heard. With a regular monthly magazine, podcasts, and the annual online Book Fair, there are many opportunities to chose from. It is the connections I have made and being able to write a monthly column that have allowed me a more expansive reach as an author.

The magazine includes writers as well as actors, musicians and singers, an important creative hub available globally.

As a guest and speaker on the RV Book Fair I have met some incredible people and been able to discuss a wide variety of writing related topics. After all we love talking about this marvellous skill of creating characters and the worlds they inhabit.
