In this month of love, we should remember why we became a writer, an author. It is the love of words that has engaged us to create characters and the worlds they inhabit. It is also partly a love of self too, we have found a passion, a creativity that embraces, inspires and holds us to a mechanism of imagination.

Be kind to yourself and stop any negative thoughts about your process, your commitment, or your unfinished projects. Sometimes being kind to ourselves allows us to sit back and really see what we have already achieved. We are remarkable in that not everyone can do what we do - write a narrative purely from our imagination.

Remember your first foray into writing, how you captured those first sentances and paragraphs. How the story evolved and what you learned along the way. It is a constant learning curve.

You have created something extraordinary.

Enjoy your writing space, wherever that may be and enjoy the sense of accomplishment it brings you. Honour your space, tidy, clean and reorganize to refresh your mind and writing.

Make your writing a priority. Carve out time for your creativity. You know it is a 'place' that brings you joy so indulge.

Write that story.
