BIBLIOPHILE’S COLLECTIVE TUESDAY – FREEDOM TO READ

Home » Blog » BIBLIOPHILE’S COLLECTIVE TUESDAY – FREEDOM TO READ

It is Freedom to Read Week in Canada this week, so Iet’s celebrate.

The core of reading has many benefits from the enjoyment of escaping reality, to seeking knowledge and learning and the broadening of our minds to the world we live in, as well as the histories of past eras and current affairs. We can learn so much from reading authors from other countries and ethnicities.

Stepping into someone else’s shoes gives us a deeper understanding of life away from home. This enriches our lives and that is the power of a book, expanding our world view.

Commit to intellectual freedom – and stay away from the AI propaganda! Yes, I said it.
