Now NaNo is behind me, I can catch up with the buying of gifts, food and decorations. Of course these are vital elements for the festive season but
NaNoWriMo has to come first! To spend a weekend
Christmas shopping when I could be creating thousands of words is – to my way of thinking anyway – not a choice. I must admit I did have several gifts already bought and stored away before November’s challenge so I’m not that bad.
I will dabble with the Saturday writing prompt’s and a
Christmas themed piece for my writers circle party in December. Then in January it will be down to the hard work of editing and revising of my NaNo novel. With so many characters and two era’s to balance it will be a steep learning curve for me but one I will plunge into full heartedly.
What challenges have you got for 2011?

Given a choice – I would rather be holed up in my room with my vanilla creamered coffee and the company of my cat, writing furiously toward the 50,000 goal than go xmas shopping – fighting snowy roads, crowded parking lots, no money, pushy crowds, etc. etc…
Challenges for 2011? For me I intend to get my own projects complete and sent out for consideration; I intend to review other writer’s projects as considered projects for my publishing company; I intend to do what makes me happy… write.
