Thirteen days into the New Year and already my objectives for this year are piling up. I have one novel to revise and edit, another which needs research and illustration and one to be submitted to several publishers. No I don’t ‘rest on my laurels’!!

I am really looking forward to my writer’s foundation’s conference, which will be held in April. As a board member I am busy organizing for this event and was very pleased to secure a speaker. I found her on face book and after several ‘chats,’ I enquired if she would like to present at our conference. She jumped at the idea. Another virtual friend, from Nevada, is also attending so I will have a houseful of authors – so exciting. Just one small problem – I need to turf out my son for that weekend – any takers?
