I have a couple of exciting events coming up and, as all writers and authors know, there has to be pre-planning involved. These include table displays, business cards, book stock, banners, and gift baskets etc. I use a large suitcase to transport my book paraphernalia – how about you?

The first event is in Lamont on 9th September. Lamont Days Inn Fall Harvest Market
Location: Days Inn By Wyndham Lamont Fall Harvest Market Saturday, September 9 2023 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m Lots of crafters, authors, and artisans to visit. See you there.

The second is the Writers Foundation of Stathcona County’s annual book fair and sale, Words in the Park. This year it will be in association with Arts & Culture Council of Strathcona County and as always Alberta Culture Days.

Venue: Agora, Community Center, 401, Festival Way, Sherwood Park.

Time 10:am – 4:00 pm

It is also the venue, where I will launch the prequel to my Rython fantasy series – Malgraf’s Dawning. I am excited for my readers to grab a copy and ask me questions on it’s creation. The book cover will be revealed in due course.

You still have time to read the previous two novellas too! The Rython Kingdom and Rython Legacy.

Further Fall plans are the completion of a ghost writing project for a client, and a writing related presentation abstract and availability dates for next semester! And, of course, choosing which of two -yes, two – ideas for National Novel Writing Month, I go for!

What’s on your writing calendar for the Fall?
