So I was quite surprised to find out that July is National Anti-Boredom Month! Yes, I know there is a day or month for almost everything now-a-days. Supposedly we should celebrate this month by identifying what makes us bored and find ways to combat it! I, for one, am very rarely bored, if at all! So, I'm not sure I can really comment on this one.

It is also Read an Almanac Month, which I feel is much more interesting. These volumes are filled with statistics and have been around for thousands of years. Of course, there are a multitude of almanacs available from astronomical almanacs, farmers’ almanacs, and even a New York Times almanac for your reading pleasure. The most used almanac must be the farmer's as they contain weather forecasts, planting charts, astronomical data, recipes, and articles.
I found this page that lists the different almanacs, I had no idea there were so many. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Almanacs
And literary-wise, we celebrate on the 4th Alice in Wonderland Day. The well-known story of a magical world was written by Lewis Carrol in 1865. Since then it has been made into movies, plays and adapted multiple times. A true testimony to the power of story. The many characters are now so well known and quoted it is an institution. I always favoured the Mad Hatter, who was your favorite character?
