As many of you know I review every book I read on Goodreads. Not only is it fun to look back at my comments, but also to see what I've read. It is surprising to see the multitude of genres, authors and stories that delighted me. Currently, my list of read books is 430, with another 150 on the 'I want to read' list. However, this TBR list is rather inaccurate as I am prone to buying more on roadtrips. What can I say, I love books!

This is my current TBR not on the Goodreads list.

Anyway, back to book review sites, apart from Goodreads. As you can see there is a variety of choice.

THE TOP TEN

Kirkus Reviews. StoryGraph. LibraryThing. Book Riot. Reedsy Discovery. NetGalley. Amazon. Publishers Weekly and Book Marks.

It is, of course, a matter of personal preference which one you choose. Some are easier to navigate than others and some are more popular. The other factor that will help you choose relates to your favourite genre, for example Fantasy Book Review is for fantasy and Kirkus Reviews cater to diverse literary tastes. You can gain insightful critiques, user-generated ratings, and community discussions on these sites. All of them aid a reader to find their next best read without any trouble.

Please remember a review is an author's life blood, so kindly leave a sentence or two. It can be as simple, or as short as you like, but it means the world.

I've just started Dirty Blonde by Lisa Scottoline - what are you reading?
