As many of you know I am the Secretary of the Writers Foundation of Strathcona County. We hold a writing conference every year. Our 14th will be held on 2nd May 2026 and the title is - Claiming Your Future Creativity

With the ever changing landscape of genre expectations and the evolution of merged genres, the serious impact of AI, and what readers want with style, theme and readability, we need to be well informed as well as networking with our writing community.

A writer's conference gives us the opportunity to learn and network both of which are valuable to the novice and experienced writer alike. It is an investment in our art and as we all know we never stop learning.
